Our oldest was in his second Pinewood Derby. He and Daddy went to a friend's house and carved the shape and then Mommy, oh I mean, we painted it. He called it "The War Machine". He came in 4th place out of 20 cars. Awesome!!!! He missed 3rd place by .0005 seconds. Here are some pictures. He won "Best Paint Job".
Yes, that is handpainted camo. Oh stop, thank you, really, it was nothing.

Ha! That is the truest of Motherly devotion! It was the paint job that made his car so fast I just know it! :)
